Incorporated in 1868, Ashland is a picturesque town located in Grafton County, New Hampshire. Situated along the Pemigewasset River, Ashland serves as the gateway to the beautiful Squam Lakes region.

With a population of approximately 2,000 residents, Ashland maintains its small-town charm while offering modern amenities and easy access to outdoor recreation. The town is conveniently located just off Interstate 93, making it easily accessible from throughout New England.

Town government meetings are held regularly and are open to the public. The Selectboard meets on the first and third Tuesday of each month at 6:30 PM in the Town Hall.

Other boards and committees including Planning, Zoning, and Conservation Commissions meet monthly. Check the town calendar for specific dates, times, and agendas.

All meetings are posted in advance at the Town Hall and on the town website. Residents are encouraged to attend and participate in local government.
